Spiritual Coaching Vol 2 #53 Attitude…

http://www.dennymeyer.me Attitude…

It has been said that attitude is the “key to or the lock on the door to success.” Zig Ziglar has said that we often need, “a check up from the neck up.” St. Paul wrote, “be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” In the Great Commandment Jesus said to love God with all our mind along with heart and soul. In other words the attitude we bring to our day is a real key to living. Nothing is easy about life. Nothing is without difficulty and challenge. Gain always requires pain, but as my old high school football coach used to say to me, “there is a difference between pain and injury.” Our attitude and approach to this day can make all the difference.

Attitude…

In order to have the right frame of mind and a good attitude we need encouragement. That comes from people who are nutritious to us. We need to seek out people who will help our attitude, hold us accountable, and encourage us in our journey. A friend, a coach, a teacher, a pastor, a spouse, a colleague, a trainer, a boss, or co-worker can serve as our nutritious people – but seek them out. As you become successful with turning your attitude around become a nutritious person to others. I’m not saying this is easy. You will battle against attitude killers in the media, toxic negative thinkers, and your own tendency to focus on negativity at times. That is exactly when to turn to those nutritious activities and friends to help you. It can be done, can’t must be overcome.

Be Well
