For those of you who have wondered where I have been lately, it’s like this: second week of June traveling in Oregon, third week of June a Christian Children’s Camp, third week a mission trip with teenagers, fourth week prep for a big fourth of July community picnic, and since then recovering from my crazy planning. You can read about the mission trip at http://www.youthfix.com or look up youthfix on Facebook and read more about it. Vince Lombardi once said, “I firmly believe that any man’s finest hour, the greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious.” Well I feel both – exhausted and victorious. A little recovery and now back to writing, speaking, and teaching. Thanks for everyone’s patience while I was away. Jesus said, “Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” (Matthew 10:39) So losing your life in things that matter is a good thing. I’ve been lost and now I’m finding my way back again.
