It’s always good to have people stop by and visit. I love to cook and visit with folks that you haven’t seen for awhile and just sit a spell. Sometimes you don’t even need to say anything. The Bible says, “Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.” (1 Peter 4:9) That’s good advice and well worth the expense and energy. Some people are just good at this and in some parts of the country this just seems to come naturally. How welcoming is your home? You don’t have to be rich – even humble people with little wealth can have a wealth of hospitality – to welcome is an honorable thing. My door is open – my table is set.
