Spiritual Coaching Vol 3 #3 New Beginnings…

When I posted the photo of the Chapel of the Resurrection, I mentioned the baptistry of the Chapel. Today I’m including a picture of the great marble fountain at the base of the spiral staircase. I’ve often gone back there to quietly listen to the water, to marvel at God’s grace, and to meditate. When you walk down the staircase you may be able to hide in this little alcove, but it reminds us that we cannot hide from God and we do not need to hide. God’s grace bubbles up and flows over us every day purifying us and making us new.

Don’t make lots of resolutions that you won’t keep. Instead let it be resolved for you. The issue is resolved – you are loved – you are freed to love – love will become most visible when you serve. Most resolutions end up being about us. Instead when you serve you become a voice crying in the wilderness. You are pushing against the trend of most of the world that serves self.

Consider sharing with others how you will serve. When you do you put it out there and you become accountable. I’d love to hear how you will serve in 2013. Be a pilgrim.

Be Well

Thought alot about this. Going to attempt to reunite a Jones family that has been too long disconnected. Don’t know if I will be successful. Laying some groundwork now. Pray for positive outcome!
