Spiritual Coaching Vol 3 #30 Silent Day…

GethsemaneSpiritual Coaching Vol 3 #30   Silent Day…

In the journey through Holy Week Wednesday remains silent in the voices of the Gospels. We can only imagine, knowing what Jesus knew, what he must have been going through. His prayer in the garden of Gethsemane for God to “take this cup from him,” may have weighed heavily on him this day. Jesus no doubt prayed continually for direction. Although there are no records from the Gospels, there would have been much activity as Jesus and the disciples prepared for the new Passover – and what became known as the “Last Supper.”  No doubt Judas and Sanhedrin prepared for the betrayal of Jesus and his arrest. Jesus remains in Bethany throughout the day, stays night there.

Use this day to think, pray, and ponder those big decisions you have in life. Seek the Creator for your inspiration – listen more than speak.

Be Well…
