It is absolutely amazing how green everything is after enduring the harsh winter we had around here. Lush, green, full, foliage is now everywhere. Colors dapple the landscape to add to the mix, redbuds, tulips, and lilacs stretch toward the sun and drink in the rains. It is an amazing time of year. Sitting and just listening to the rain was such a gift. We get caught up in all the media and noise of life we sometimes don’t stop and look with detail at the small gifts of creation all around us.
So stop reading, get out there – look, listen, smell, and enjoy the creation. As you do, pray for folks who have faced the forces of nature that have wrecked homes and property. Find a way to make a donation (large or small) to help people to recover from things they had no control over.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, you are very great! You are clothed with splendor and majesty, covering yourself with light as with a garment, stretching out the heavens like a tent. He lays the beams of his chambers on the waters; he makes the clouds his chariot; he rides on the wings of the wind; he makes his messengers winds, his ministers a flaming fire. He set the earth on its foundations, so that it should never be moved.” Psalm 104
