Guided Spiritual Life Coaching Week #4 Day #2

Guided Spiritual Life Coaching Week #4 Day #2

Good day. Yesterday we looked at parental relationships and explored the dynamics of those relationships on how it can shape our worldview. I am assuming you are journaling and using your affirmation to make the positive changes that you desire. Today I would like you explore some new questions that deal with your spiritual understanding.

+ From whom do you get your spiritual inspiration and nurture?

+ How do you think of your Creator?

+ How do understand the work of the Spirit in your life?

+ Do you understand the concept of having a relationship with Jesus?

+ Are you willing to completely open your life to the guidance of the Spirit?

Use this affirmation today:

“In the center of my being there is a place of peace, stillness, and quiet.”

Remember that at the center of a hurricane or tornado there is a place of stillness and quiet even while the storm swirls around you. No matter what is going on around you there can be an inner sanctuary of tranquility.

We often go so fast in life that we are out of touch with our spiritual nature. When we slow life down, even for a few minutes each day, we are able to be in touch with what is authentic, real, and beautiful. The Spirit desires that we find that place of peace and solitude so we can live out of our true self and not something we have constructed to deal with the storms of life.

Try this: go slow for thirty minutes today. Eat slow, walk slow, imagine everything around you moving in slow motion for these thirty minutes. Utilize this time to think about what is happening around you. Notice the sky, the texture of food, the sounds around you, and all those things that your senses are aware of. During this time watch of signs of the Spirit speaking and directing you. Use this to become more aware of the people and relationships that surround you in your day.

Read this scripture several times today:

“For even if the mountains walk away
and the hills fall to pieces,
My love won’t walk away from you,
my covenant commitment of peace won’t fall apart.”
The God who has compassion on you says so. Is 54:10

Be Well…
