Here is today’s affirmation:
I am blessed and I am grateful for the fullness of life.
Read this scripture and write some notes in your journal that will help you reinforce the good things that you have experienced:
“I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.” John 10:10
Today and over the weekend focus on being grateful for everyone around you. What can you find that is wonderful in the encounters you have? What value can you gain from even the most challenging of relationships or situations you encounter? Each day try and focus on what is good about each moment. Think about what you are thankful for. Let the people in your life know what you appreciate about them and what they mean to you. Be sincere in your affirmations of others.
Write down all the things you are thankful for in your journal . Make another list of things that you do not feel grateful for and find a way that you could change ingratitude to gratitude. Look in the mirror too and remind yourself that you are grateful for yourself. Tell yourself (as silly as it might make you feel), “I am grateful for who I am and the potential I have.” Do that for the next three days. Use the weekend to look back over your journal and see what kind of progress you have made. Review the original contract you made with yourself and recommit to following through.
