Here are just a few questions to ask yourself over the weekend. They will be a lot easier to understand if you read the earlier posts. Disciples grow. They are not static, they don’t retire, and they don’t give up. They may feel like it at times because this is the human condition but they have learned the God is their strength. I once again commend to you the book Real Faith for Real Life by Michael Foss. We’ll be offering some discipleship groups after the first of the year to dig a little more deeply into his book and discuss ways we can help each other in our walk. Thanks for reading, asking questions, and walking the walk. Have a good weekend.
Are you able to trust God in more circumstances?
Are you able to accept God’s forgiveness and move on from past rebelliousness in my life?
Are you able to forgive others more quickly?
Am I beginning to understand that what I see as failure is an opportunity to grow?
Do I find that I am less judgmental of others?
Am I listening to and speaking to God throughout the day?
Do I look forward to gathering with the community of faith in order to worship?
Am I becoming more generous trusting God to provide with more so that I can share?
Do you pick up your Bible more often?
Do I really desire to have a friend or friends with whom I can become spiritually real?
Am I experiencing the joy God wants me to have in simple acts of service?
Be Well…and be sure to worship this weekend
