Spiritual Life Coaching – Be That!

Spiritual Life Coaching – Be That!

One of the things that I have to constantly remind myself of is that if there is something I want to achieve or accomplish, I must be what it is that I hope for. It is not enough to say we will “strive” to do something or be someone – we must actually take on those characteristics and become the person we wish to be. Personal leadership is like this. You may want to be more influential or to achieve more at work, home, church, or school but then it remains unchanged because you have not become what it is that you dream of.

What does  a leader do? What does someone who is successful do? Don’t be the person who sabotages what it is that you want to be by doing the opposite. Stop – become the very thing you are hoping to become. Your actions need to align with your hopes and dreams. What does a person of influence do? How do you spend your time? Who do you spend your time with? Think of all the “time-wasters” in your day that accomplish zero towards your dreams.

Make sure that you start your day with a clear vision of what it is that you will do to bring you closer to your dreams. Move there – even small steps make an enormous difference.

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like mature adults, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.” 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
