Spiritual Life Coaching – Repeat

Spiritual Life Coaching – Repeat

There are so many great lines in the movie “Groundhog Day,” such as:

Rita: Do you every have déjà vu?
Phil: Didn’t you just ask me that?

Yep, some days just seem to repeat over and over and you wonder if it will ever change. We wish we could live other moments over and over again so that we could wipe out the mistakes of the past or relive an exquisite moment but that is not life. We move forward whether we want to or not. Making the most of moving forward is an accomplishment in itself. Phil, the conceited weather reporter, repeats February second over and over again and comes out a better person. Not without much trial and error. If we could learn each day something that would humble us, scare us, challenge us, and make us love more it would be a miraculous day.

“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12

“Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep.” Romans 13:11

There are days and moments I would love to have a “do over,” but we don’t get to have those. We do get to start fresh each day thanks to the love, mercy, and forgiveness of our Creator. So today we’ll make it count – are you with me?

Be Well…
